Soundproof Decorative Closed Cell Aluminum Foam sheet
Aluminum foam is made by adding additives to pure aluminum or aluminum alloy and then through a foaming process. It has both metal and bubble characteristics.
Because aluminum foam is a porous material, diffuse reflection occurs after sound enters, thereby weakening the noise.
Compared with other sound-absorbing materials, aluminum foam has excellent low-frequency absorption performance. Adding a certain size of cavity to aluminum foam, the sound-absorbing effect is better and can be applied in a wider frequency range.
For example: before indoor sound-absorbing treatment, the wall surface is made of very hard cement, and after 10mm thick aluminum foam is applied indoors for sound-absorbing and noise-reducing treatment, the sound-absorbing foam aluminum can reduce the noise by 15-25db.
