1. Lightweight characteristics of foam aluminum:

No moisture absorption: The moisture absorption rate of foam aluminum is 0.0%. There is no moisture absorption phenomenon, and the acoustic performance will not be reduced due to moisture.
Heat-resistant/non-flammable properties: Foam aluminum softens only at a high temperature of 600℃ and is a non-flammable material.
Thermal insulation performance: The thermal conductivity of foam aluminum is 0.25~0.62W/m.K, which is equivalent to marble and has good thermal insulation performance.
Thermal stability: The linear expansion coefficient of foam aluminum is 1.934*10℃, which is equivalent to concrete and is not easily deformed by heat.
5. Mechanical properties:
Mechanical properties: compressive strength: 3~17MPa; flexural strength: 3~15MPa; tensile strength: 2~7MPa;
Buffering performance: energy absorption can reach 8J/cm³~30J/cm³. Foamed aluminum can absorb energy through deformation and is an excellent impact energy absorbing material.
Damping performance: According to the test of the Institute of Solid State Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the internal friction factor Q-1 of foamed aluminum reaches 6×10-3.
6. Foamed aluminum machining performance:
Foamed aluminum is widely used in various fields. It is a porous, light, silver-white metal material with excellent processing characteristics. It can be sawed, cut, planed, milled, etc. It is easy to process into plates, strips, bars and various special-shaped parts.
7. Green and environmentally friendly
Non-toxic: Foamed aluminum is a composite material composed of metal and pores. It is non-toxic in itself and will not emit toxic gases at high temperatures.
The results of the gas release experiment conducted at the China Shipbuilding Industry Chemical Substance Testing Center showed that the foamed aluminum and the corresponding adhesive developed by the 725 Institute did not detect any harmful substances.
Recyclable: The main chemical components of foamed aluminum are aluminum alloy and its oxides, which can be 100% recycled and will not cause any pollution to the environment.
Electromagnetic shielding: Electromagnetic shielding (below 200MHz) shields the electromagnetic screen 90dB and has excellent electromagnetic shielding performance.
